What do we mean by virtual learning?

Virtual learning is available through the Red Dot education and skills website which you can sign up to at the top of the page. This is a hub that’s accessible to all ages and is splint into primary school learning modules and secondary school learning modules.

The hub contains useful information and knowledge around a wide variety of topics relating to financial services, skills and industries. The programme is designed to allow you to learn valuable information and key skills which will help you through all stages of life.

Where can I access the resources?

All the learning material and resources can be accessed via our website www.reddotgroup.co.uk, you will find an education section which will allow you access as a student, parent, teacher or business. Registration is easy, simply complete your details and contact information and we do the rest. There is no financial cost to take part.

How can I participate?

We understand that everyone learns differently, that's why we have created a bank of resources that can be accessed in school, at home, while out and about through your PC, tablet or mobile phone which allows learning to be as fun and accessible as possible for everyone.

What types of resources are available?

We have put together a number of different learning resources from videos, downloadable worksheets, fun online activities and games, making all of our programmes and modules as engaging and informative as possible for our learners. This will help to develop your key skills, which will build a solid foundation of knowledge for the future.

What will I need to take part?

We ask that you bring a positive attitude to learning and a pen and paper is always handy to take notes. You will need your selected device to take part and a quiet spot and maybe some headphones if you're home or in the car and getting involved while on the move. While at school, your teacher or a member of school staff or pupils will set up the lessons for you to take part and be on hand to help with your learning.

What to expect once I have joined?

Listening and watching videos while taking part in online games is some of the way our programme helps you to learn in addition to completing activities, worksheets, puzzles and participating in group activities. You will have the opportunity to ask lots of questions during the learning which will help you for many years to come.

To allow you to make the most of our programme, you can play and watch the content as many times as you like allowing you to learn at your own pace. Upon completion of all modules, participants will be rewarded with a certificate of accreditation from Red Dot recognising your achievement.
