Mortgages
Buying a home can be one of the largest single financial decisions that anyone will make in their lives. So getting it right is important. Trying to select the most appropriate mortgage may be an added pressure that most of us could well do without; yet the choices are so wide that it may be all too easy to make a mistake. That is why we aim to help clients select the most appropriate mortgage for them from all the different types on offer today.
We will undertake a detailed analysis of requirements, assets, income and expenditure in order to ensure that we recommend the most appropriate mortgage based on the individual clients current needs and circumstances. We will consider a wide range of interest rate types, including:
- Fixed rate;
- Capped rate;
- Tracker;
- Low start;
- Offset;
- Variable rate.
We will look at the special offers available and, where appropriate, we will aim to ensure that early repayment charges do not extend beyond any special terms period. This could help reduce the cost of moving to a cheaper mortgage in the future.
Re-mortgages
Not everybody who wants to reassess their mortgage borrowings is actually moving. Some are interested in extending their current home in order to provide more room for a growing family.
Whatever reason you are looking for a mortgage, we can look at your existing arrangements and advise whether you could achieve better terms elsewhere without the need to move home.
We also advise on all aspects of commercial mortgages including in connection with self invested pensions and the buy-to-let market.
You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing lender if you remortgage.
